Trekking Destinations
Darjeeling and Sikkim is where we operate most of our treks. However we also offer trekking holidays in Bhutan, Tibet, Nepal and Ladakh. Sometime these make a good combination with treks in the Darjeeling, Sikkim region.
We have the experience and local knowledge and can put together a private trip to suit you to any of the above destinations.
Darjeeling

Darjeeling 2135m in the eastern Himalaya makes a wonderful base for treks, in Sikkim, Nepal and Bhutan. Our trek in the surrounding hills of Darjeeling takes you along the Singalila ridge - from where you have a panorama of 4 of the 5 highest mountains in the world including Mt. Everest. It is normally a 6 day walk but the route can be altered to suit the amount of time you have. Alternately you can stay in Darjeeling and take day walks.
Sikkim

Sikkim wedged in between, Tibet, India and Nepal is a naturalist's paradise. The forests are well preserved and the vegetation ranges from orchids, ferns and palms growing in semi tropical regions to oak and rhododendron bushes close to the glaciers and snow covered peaks around Kangchenjunga. Many of the flowers in the gardens around the world came from this region. Our treks take you close to Kangchenjunga the world's third highest mountain.
The treks we operate takes you close to Guiche-la 4940m, a viewpoint directly below Kangchenjunga and to the Green Lake which is close to the east face of Kangchenjunga. We were one of the first organisations to operate treks to the now popular Guiche-la and to the more remote region of Green Lake.
Nepal

Nepal has been popular with western tourists since it opened it doors to the outside world in the mid '50s. With its fascinating culture - it the birth place of Buddha, friendly people and spectacular mountains it makes a wonderful destination. For the present time, we are focusing on treks in the Khumbu and Mt. Everest region of Nepal. This is where I organised my first commercial trek.
Bhutan

Bhutan is a marvellous experience. The forests, its fast flowing rivers, high mountain passes, spectacular snow clad mountains, isolated villages, and few other travellers, make this a very special destination. Combine this with sightseeing in the towns of Paro and Thimphu and you have a perfect holiday! We offer a tour of Bhutan combined with a tour of Darjeeling and Sikkim. - Should you be interested in doing the Chomolhari or Ha Valley trek, please ask for details.
Ladakh

Ladakh is known as little Tibet. It juts into the Tibetan plateau in the northwest corner of India. Here the monasteries thrive and have remained intact for over a thousand years. It is a fascinating destination
